The Doe Lea Centre
The Doe Lea Centre is a Community and Resource Centre that hosts activities and events for all ages.
The centre is administered by AULT HUCKNALL PARISH COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION (Registered charity No. 508572).
We cater for birthday parties, baby showers, christenings, funeral wakes, conferences, meetings and training courses, clubs and societies, alongside many other regular community activities.
In addition to the main hall, meeting rooms and hot desk facilities, the centre has an excellent in house catering provision, a well equipped gym, a workshop and a fully kitted out music space/rehearsal room...complete with both recording and film making equipment.
Accessible throughout including disabled toilets and baby changing facilities. High speed Wi-Fi throughout both buildings.
Collaboration
We work closely with Ault Hucknall Parish, Bolsover District and Derbyshire County Councils, like minded community groups, local businesses, our local school, talented individuals and funding bodies to provide an ever growing varied programme of events and activities.
Wellbeing
We promote physical and mental wellbeing through our in house gym, weekly Yoga classes, regular opportunities for all ages to join in supervised sporting activities and weekly group activities and sessions. There is also the chance to join in with environmental and arts projects.
Support
Through sourced funding and thanks to a growing body of volunteers, we provide support to local families through initiatives such as our FREE 'Holiday Fun Days' during school holidays. We also house a Post Office counter every Thursday between 11.30am and 1pm.
Doe Lea and the Arts
Our village and parish has a rich heritage in the creative and performing arts. We are determined to protect and build upon that legacy, encouraging all generations to become part of the evolving Doe Lea story.

Featured Regular Sessions
We host a wide range of regular weekly sessions promoting wellbeing plus opportunities to learn or develop new or exisiting skills.
With thanks to continued support from Ault Hucknall Parcish Council and externally sourced funding, we are able to make sessions as affordable as possible.
